So hopefully you now understand the importance of golf alignment. And if you do, here's a simple exercise that you can quickly and easily do to check your feet alignment.

To do this golf alignment exercise I want you to setup to a golf shot as normal and get comfortable. Then just before you're ready to hit your shot, get two golf balls and without moving your feet place them directly behind your heels so they're touching your feet. Now take your feet away and go back behind your ball down the line of your target and see how good your alignment was.

The beauty of doing this golf alignment exercise is that it shows you exactly where you are aligning your feet and then you can simply change the golf balls so they align correctly and then setup with these balls touching your heels. If your feet have been aligned incorrectly for a while then it will feel quite strange when you align them correctly. But keep practicing and before long, your new feet alignment will become second nature.

So that is a great and easy way to check the alignment of your feet. But you still have to check the alignment of your knees, hips and shoulders as they also have a big affect on your golf shots success. And the absolute best way of checking this is to get a person to get a golf club and lay it across each part of your body once you've setup to a shot. But remember, you want each part of your body to be aligned parallel to the starting line of your golf shot.

You do NOT want your body to be aligned directly at your target. A good way to picture this is to imagine yourself setting up to hit a golf shot on railway tracks. Imagine the golf ball on one rail and you're standing on the other rail.

Cycling Holidays - Vacations

Do you enjoy cycling so much that you take your bike on holidays/vacations? If you are one of these people, that is great! If you have just thought about it, yet have not done it that is fine too.

I have personally taken my bike on some holidays/vacations with me. They were short, long weekend, holidays but I have still done it.

The most memorable experience I can think of was the time some friends and I plus our families went to a place called Mormon lake in arizona.

I remember it well because it was late spring or early summer so the weather was wonderful. We got there the night before and camped out. The following morning was an overcast day. It was looking like it was going to rain. We all decided to go on a ride anyway.

We were on our way around the lake! The scenery was very beautiful with green trees providing a canopy over the road. The grass was green, long and gently swaying in the breeze.

On our ride around the lake we realized the whole way the roads were wet but we had not been rained on. Once we got back to our camping spot our families told us that the rain had been ahead of us the whole time. So we were able to enjoy a wonderful ride without being rained on!

I think I remember this ride because of the scenery yet also because it was my first biking holiday/vacation. The ride was great and the weather was particularly wonderful.

We all had a great time riding and spending some time together.

It is always nice to get away from the city traffic or your normal riding routes and enjoy a change of scenery.

There are a variety of places that you can get away and enjoy a pleasant bike ride. You might know of some good places you have wanted to try out.

If you can afford to go outside your own country there are great places to ride in italy and along the northern california coast. If you look hard enough there are great places to ride near and far from where you might live.

You might be thinking do I have to take my own bike or can I just rent one and the answer is you can do either. Dont let anything stop you from experiencing new and exciting places to ride.

Chant OM And Free Yourself From All Ill-Thoughts And Disease

In yoga, understanding and chanting of OM has a great significance. Om is a syllable(akshara) or a word in sanskrit. There is no syllable or word neither in sanskrit nor in any other language of the world as great as OM. The syllable OM is in itself a great hymn(mahamantra). vedic hymns are chanted only after chanting of OM.

Upanishads, the fountainhead of indian spiritualism describe OM as Brahman. Brahman is the ultimate reality or divinity in the whole universe. All worldly things, all names and forms are only the manifestation of Brahman. The world appears to exist because of Brahman. The sense organs in the body cannot realise Brahman. Sound should come out equally from mouth and nose. With a full inhalation again one should chant OM with full exhalation. This way one should go on chanting OM for atleast half an hour before doing yogic exercises. The ultimate aim of chanting and practicing yoga is to realise the Self(soul) that is Brahman.

By chanting of Om cells in the body becomes alert, active and concious. Elements causing disease in the body get destroyed. By chanting OM for a long duration one feels the bliss and freshness. Mind becomes free from ill-thoughts and gets concentrated. While chanting OM one should keep one's mind on the sound of OM. However the technique of chanting of OM should be learnt from a Master.
